As a Claims Advisor, you will serve as a trusted advocate for clients throughout the claims lifecycle, helping them navigate complex insurance claims while delivering exceptional service and support. Acting as the primary liaison between clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, vendors, and internal teams, you will provide strategic guidance, facilitate timely claim resolution, and ensure clients receive the full value of their insurance programs.

This role is ideal for an insurance professional who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and serving as a consultative partner to clients. You will collaborate closely with Account Management, Risk Management, and Carrier partners to drive positive claim outcomes and enhance the overall client experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial and/or personal insurance claims from initial notice of loss through final resolution.
  • Serve as a dedicated advocate for clients, providing guidance, education, and support throughout the claims process.
  • Review claims documentation, coverage provisions, and loss details to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policy terms.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, adjusters, attorneys, medical providers, and third-party vendors to facilitate efficient claim handling and favorable outcomes.
  • Monitor claim activity and proactively follow up on open claims to expedite resolution and address potential issues.
  • Analyze claim trends, loss data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for risk mitigation and claims cost reduction.
  • Prepare claim reviews, stewardship reports, and loss summaries for clients and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
  • 2-5 years of insurance claims, broker claims advocacy, carrier claims handling, or risk management experience.
  • Proficiency with claims management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
  • Industry designations such as AIC, CPCU, ARM, or CRM are a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The employee must be able to effectively manage the demands of a fast-paced work environment. This includes the ability to adapt to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain composure under pressure while meeting deadlines and performance expectations.
This position requires the ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to focus on tasks involving prolonged screen time and perform repetitive motions such as typing and mouse use in a standard office environment. Regular phone communication is an essential part of this role. The employee must be able to make and receive calls as part of their daily responsibilities, communicate effectively and professionally, and provide accurate information in a clear and courteous manner.

Pay Range:

$51,800 - $72,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
