In this role, you will work closely with the talented North American Sales, Operations and Marketing teams to oversee and deploy the commercialization strategies driving organic topline results. This includes the coordination of marketing programs ensuring key sales, profit and share goals are maximized. The role will foster superior working relationships cross-functionally within Husqvarna (sales, product management, brand marketing, customer service and finance) and externally with customers and industry organizations. The Channel Manager embodies ownership with internal stakeholders ultimately ensuring turnkey solutions for external customers. Key to success will be close collaboration with members of the Sales team and Marketing Organization, operationalizing best-in-class execution.

What You Need to Know:

• Leads channel-specific product and dealer development programs across omnichannel sales organization ensuring planned ROI targets and budgets are met.

• Understands how to frame materials around customer mindset and identify and align core solutions for successful channel-specific execution.

• Establishes and drives process-based activity execution including KPI development, tracking and reporting to key stakeholders.  Analyzes sales data, POS (Point of Sale) data, inventory levels, market share, and competitive landscapes to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Creates assortment strategy and account based Marketing plans to support sales goals and market penetration thresholds.   Collaborates with Sales and Finance teams to optimize product mix, pricing strategies, and promotional opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.

Manage relationships with key retail and/or dealer partners (buyers, distributors) to secure optimal product placement and shelf space.

Present new products, merchandising strategies, and promotional plans to buyers, ensuring successful product launches and ongoing market communication.

Understand the channel's P&L (Profit and Loss) statement and make sound business decisions to drive top and bottom-line growth

• Establishes and maintains bank of omnichannel and channel specific knowledge including competitive intelligence, channel-partner profile detail, marketing tactics and best practices, promotional / activation efficacy and other channel marketing landscape information. 

• Leads development of channel support materials collaborating with internal stakeholders as well as evaluating industry best-practices for recommendation.   Interface with the Brand Marketing team to ensure effective and engaging POP materials.

• Implements promotional planning activities, after-sales support and best-in-class customer experience across all channels.  Further tracks the effectiveness of marketing programs and promotions, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

• Develops end- to-end Go-To-Market channel strategy focused working in conjunction with field sales and market development teams.

What We Are Looking For:

• BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

• 5+ years of successful marketing with documented results in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills; able to build rapport cross-functionally, influence and prioritize.

• Adept at performing with corporate agility as well as maintaining flexibility as new information is presented.

• Advanced experience with multiple distribution models facilitating asset deployment tailored to channel-specific execution and end-user. Includes customer marketing fund management with third-party vendors.

• Knowledge and experience with key marketing mix levers including advertising, merchandising, online marketing, email marketing, direct mail, public relations, training events and promotions.

• Self-starter, takes initiative, learning mindset, cultivates-data driven insights, can work across multiple teams and personalities to gain agreements.

• High proficiency in entire Microsoft office suite of products.

• Capable of synthesizing data and translating into tactical execution and strategic direction.

• Project management competency.
