About the role

This is an individual contributor role within Appfire’s Channel Sales organization focused on driving growth across the LATAM region within the Atlassian ecosystem. The role combines channel partnerships, direct sales, and regional growth strategy, with a strong focus on expanding Appfire’s market presence across Latin America.

This is a highly visible opportunity offering close collaboration with senior leadership, the ability to shape regional strategy, and direct impact on business growth in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

About the team:

You will work closely with the entire Channel team, as well as Marketing and Product to develop and deliver solutions that suit our partners' needs and represent Appfire in the field. 

Your everyday tasks will include:

  • Accelerate and grow our partner base, with a focus on top level Atlassian Partners across all of our program tiers
  • Take part in developing plans to identify and recruit new Partners to the Appfire Partner Program
  • Contribute to improving/refining current Partner Program initiatives and processes
  • Take an active role in delivering on strategic goals established by Appfire's leadership team
  • Provide guidance, insight and training to our more junior Channel Managers
  • Grow the presence and share of Appfire technologies within our solution partners, corporate resellers, and larger system integrators 
  • Demonstrate the business opportunity of selling “Appfire” and our solutions offerings
  • Attend field marketing events and trade shows
  • Present/speak to partners and groups at internal and external events
  • Be an internal advocate for your partners, and an external advocate for Appfire

Skills and experience you'll need to succeed:

  • You are based in North America with easy access to international travel hubs. 
  • You speak Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian’s core product offering, the Atlassian Marketplace, and the Atlassian Partner Ecosystem.
  • You have 4+ years direct experience operating in a partner/channel/alliance business model, with a deep understanding of both the challenges and opportunities of an indirect selling motion.
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian and LATAM business culture.
  • You have the ability to recognize potential in untapped opportunities, and develop that talent through relationship building, enablement and training.
  • You are a highly motivated person with a background in the software industry and may have also worked in consultancy/services organizations
  • You understand the complexities of working with small and large partners, each with its own culture, challenges, and opportunities.
  • You have worked with enterprise accounts but you're also an all-rounder who can actively contribute to local marketing and community activities.
