We’re hiring a Cash Product Risk Senior Manager to lead risk oversight for our Cash Plus product. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and operational integrity across broker-dealer cash management functions. It involves translating complex financial regulations—such as Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, and NACHA—into effective product design, risk frameworks, and operational control strategies. The position also includes leadership of a small team and close collaboration with cross-functional partners to maintain a strong risk posture across payment systems and card operations.

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of broker-dealer cash management accounts and related regulations (e.g., Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, NACHA), payment rails, card operations, and related functions, with the ability to apply regulatory knowledge to product design, risk assessment, and operational controls

  • Manage staff; develop, mentor, and provide guidance, training, and motivation as necessary. Conduct regular one-on-one and team meetings. Hire, evaluate, and counsel crew. Follow corporate disciplinary procedures per established standards. Set performance standards, review performance, provide feedback, and recommend wage increases in accordance with applicable HR policies

  • Provide risk guidance, oversight, and assurance services to the enterprise and partners based on the operational and strategic risk framework. Seek ideas and perspectives from across divisions to improve oversight capabilities and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Implement and manage risk and control management standards within divisional processes. Identify and prioritize existing and emerging risks and advise on appropriate control design and testing. Communicate strategies and plans effectively to all relevant parties

  • Ensure the division has appropriate levels of review and key controls, and verify that controls are designed and operating effectively in accordance with established standards

  • Provide consultation and analytical support to key stakeholders, ensuring internal controls are properly implemented without compromising client service

  • Partner with divisional leadership to ensure business risk and control decisions are integrated into the design and development of technology, service, or operating model changes. Proactively raise and execute plans to address key issues

  • Develop, maintain, and evolve a comprehensive program for monitoring and analyzing controls. Establish metrics, dashboards, and reports to identify control opportunities and monitor effectiveness. Report on control performance to department leadership

  • Maintain broad knowledge and awareness of the investment industry, risk management practices, and regulatory or policy changes. Serve as a subject matter expert in risk management discussions

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of eight years related work experience. Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

  • Deep expertise in broker-dealer cash management accounts, payment systems, card operations, and related regulations (e.g., Reg E, Reg CC, Reg DD, NACHA), with the ability to apply regulatory knowledge to product design, risk assessment, and operational controls.

  • Possess a strong background in risk management, with demonstrated experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and regulatory risks within financial services, particularly in broker-dealer and cash product environments.
