How you can make a difference:
- Complete our 10-week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award for excellence in Best Advance in Sales Enablement and Performance Tools.
- Perform a needs assessment and status evaluation to identify client improvement areas.
- Create technical and product presentations and network designs.
- Work with internal teams to develop unique service offerings for standard and nonstandard solutions.
- Serve as an SME on data services to provide proof of concepts to other teams.
- Field-based sales roles have fluidity between home, client location and office locations. The expectation is that you are primarily out in front of clients.
- Develop strategic responses for RFIs and RFPs.
- Adhere to state, national and company policies to maintain compliance.
WHAT YOU BRING TO SPECTRUM BUSINESS
Required qualifications:
- Experience: Five or more years of telecommunication networking or systems integrator experience; Ten or more years of telecommunications field experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, a related field or equivalent experience; MEF-CECP.
- Technical skills: Familiar with data layer two networking communications, IP security strategies, VoIP/ SIP, IP-VPN, DWDM, MPLS, VPLS, metro Ethernet and LAN/WAN integration; Knowledge of complex layer two Ethernet networks; Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Skills: Troubleshooting, issue resolution, presentation and English communication skills.
- Abilities: Ability to network across departments and work with boundary partners.
- Availability: Travel to and from assigned territories and company facilities. Valid driver's license.
Preferred qualifications:
- Cisco or Juniper certification.
- Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper and Adva network equipment.
