Job Description:
This job is responsible for driving business development and sales activities for the Credit Card business. Key responsibilities include directly or indirectly managing a sales team, developing and implementing sales goals for smaller, mid-sized accounts and/or portfolios, contributing to new product development and aiding in corporate development or portfolio acquisition activities as needed. Job expectations include developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and negotiating and closing sales to drive business with existing clients and prospects.

This role leads the creation of integrated acquisition plans, manages new account forecasting and performance reporting, and identifies innovative opportunities to accelerate customer acquisition across digital, partner, direct, and emerging channels.

Working closely with co-brand partners, Marketing, Analytics, Product, Risk, Finance, and Digital teams, this leader will translate business objectives into actionable acquisition programs that maximize account growth, optimize channel performance, and enhance partner value. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and a strong growth mindset to uncover new opportunities and challenge conventional approaches to customer acquisition.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and executes on business development opportunities to grow card sales program and portfolio, including proactive prospecting of potential clients
  • Provides input into broader Business Development or Sales strategy to drive growth of card program portfolio
  • Develops robust sales proposals to win new business, including timely follow through and engagement to grow relationships
  • Negotiates sales terms and contracts for card program portfolio with prospects
  • Establishes sales goals and drives to deliver on shared goals through direct or indirect management of a team
  • Provides input into enhancement opportunities for Credit Card business

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in cobrand credit card or related industries.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing customer acquisition strategies.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with experience translating data into business recommendations.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, including external partners.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic initiatives across matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of credit card acquisition economics, customer lifecycle management, and channel performance metrics.
  • Experience with financial modeling, portfolio forecasting, and business case development.
  • Demonstrated success launching innovative acquisition programs or entering new acquisition channels.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$130,000.00 - $170,500.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
