Job DescriptionThe Card Disputes Function Manager, will oversee two teams within Spend Operations in Austin, Texas: Card Fraud and Card Non-Fraud Disputes. This role involves leading high-performing teams, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring operational excellence in the Card Disputes domain.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of two teams: Card Fraud and Non-Fraud.
- Contribute to the definition, scoping, and execution of long-term plans and objectives in coordination with relevant Product teams and stakeholders.
- Support domain growth with expertise and influence over relevant stakeholders.
- Plan team capabilities, skills, and capacity development, focusing on processes, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and workforce management.
- Foster a risk-aware culture, ensuring secure and compliant operational processes and team alignment.
- Collaborate with other functions and teams to achieve larger-scale impact and align on overall vision.
- Measure, monitor, and improve team performance (KPIs), providing regular feedback and visibility at the company level.
- Ensure adherence to reporting responsibilities, quality, procedures, and service level agreements.
- Lead significant cross-team projects requiring material decisions and project management.
- Manage team operations and processes, and participate in budget management.
- Develop team leads, support them in building strong teams, and foster leadership and independence within teams.
A bit about you:
You have experience within the Card Issuance domain
You have experience leading operational teams, preferably in the payments industry
You have a track-record of building teams and developing people
You have experience working with different functions in an organization (engineering, analytics, product teams)
You have good analytical skills, including ability to work directly with business intelligence tools for work-force management information or overall operational and financial performance
You like to drive collaboration and support people around you with the ability to emphasis people’s strengths for a high outcome
