We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to assess and enhance IT operations across various functional areas. In this role, you will provide industry best practices and strategic guidance to optimize business processes, improve system efficiencies, and align technology with organizational objectives. You will play a critical role in solving emerging national security challenges by analyzing and refining systems that support secure and resilient operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize industry best practices to create conceptual business models and identify relevant considerations for selecting application software packages, including ERP solutions.

  • Assess operational and functional baselines to define engagement direction and strategy.

  • Provide industry vision and guidance to senior managers regarding functional areas such as Human Resources, Finance, Supply, and Service.

  • Identify and classify IT deficiencies that impact the organization's ability to meet goals.

  • Develop functional area strategies to enhance IT operations across cross-functional areas.

  • Provide work direction and guidance to team members, ensuring accuracy and quality of deliverables.

  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently while operating under deadlines.
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
     

Location & Travel:

  • Must be local to the Washington, DC area as on-site work is required.
     

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Active/Current Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI and polygraph eligible holders are highly encouraged to apply.
