Serve as subject-matter expert in business processes, analyze and recommend system improvements, translate business needs into technical requirements, support system implementation/integration across the EFM portfolio, collaborate with stakeholders, produce documentation and decision-support materials, and use Microsoft Suite and project management tools for analysis and reporting.
The Business Systems Analyst serves as a subject matter expert in business processes and provides analytical and technical guidance to support system implementation, integration, and optimization across the DLA Enterprise Financial Management (EFM) portfolio. The role supports project teams in aligning system capabilities with business objectives and mission requirements.

Responsibilities
- Formulate system scope and objectives aligned with organizational business plans and industry requirements
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements or enhancements
- Provide technical guidance on business implications of system applications
- Support project teams in system implementation, integration, and lifecycle activities
- Conduct business process analysis and support requirements definition
- Collaborate with stakeholders across PMOs and portfolio programs
- Utilize Microsoft Suite and project management tools for analysis and reporting
- Contribute to documentation and decision-support materials
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and systems integration
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Experience supporting IT systems or enterprise platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools and project management concepts
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Four (4) years of relevant experience
- Education Level: Not specified (Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent experience)
- Clearance Requirements: Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive; Tier 3 / NACLC / ANACI
- Certification Requirements: Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority
Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role:
- Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Project management tools and methodologies
- Enterprise IT environment support experience preferred
