Job Overview
- As a valued member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in reviewing, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on risk management and controls within the SFO organization.
- Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls.
- Collaborate with the various departments to address all aspects of in-business risks and controls, contributing to a culture of security and compliance.
- Assists business partners with the design and implementation of controls, policies, and procedures to increase effectiveness and efficiency related to the respective functional area.
- Make decisions in complex situations requiring solid understanding of risk management framework and the risk and control environment that influence and lead to meeting reporting deliverables and drive new initiatives.
- Provide prioritization recommendations to leadership for control implementation based on inherent and residual risk evaluations.
- Assist with conducting thorough RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessments) control testing to ensure the operational effectiveness of controls, identifying areas for improvement and enhancement.
- Facilitate the identification of gaps and drive solutions that minimize losses resulting from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors.
- Investigates and assists in root cause analysis in instances of actual or potential operational loss.
- Assist in the coordination of risk and control-related information for audits and external reviews, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.
- Maintain diligent tracking and reporting on the status of self-identified issues and remediation plans, helping us to continuously strengthen our risk mitigation strategies.

What we're looking for:
- 3+ years of Finance, Treasury Operations, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting, Business Audit, or Technology Audit experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field in information technology.
- A strong understanding of financial services and business process risk and control practices.
