Business Planning Analyst

It works with the business to improve the way the business runs and in turn, ensures a positive customer experience. By providing business leaders with the financial and operational insights they need, this team plays a vital role in delivering the exceptional services and experiences Spectrum is known for.
BE PART OF THE CONNECTION
As a Business Planning Analyst, you'll coordinate and monitor budgets, forecast, and analyze capital expenses. You'll develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. You'll perform analyses to determine present and future financial performance. Your contribution will help improve company performance by linking business activities to financial and operational results.
WHAT OUR BUSINESS PLANNING ANALYSTS ENJOY MOST

• Preparing and reviewing reports & other analyses as required for achieving financial objectives
• Partner with accounting to ensure proper capex classification of accruals and alignment with financial reporting standards
• Coordinate, consolidate and prepare executive-level reports and dashboards summarizing capital performance and variances
• Monitor project spending, identify risks, and support forecasting efforts
• Performing monthly review of financial statements and identifying trends
• Work cross-functionally to gather inputs and validate capital forecasts
• Understanding financial models to forecast results
• Utilizing analysis to identify cost saving opportunities

In this role you will be in a dynamic office environment working independently, and on a collaborative team. You will excel in this position if you are highly organized, communicate effectively, and are adept at interpreting and analyzing data. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

• Experience: Business planning/Financial analysis or related experience: 2 or more years
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
• Skills: Knowledge of software applications such as Word, Advanced Excel,
• Abilities: Work independently as well as in a collaborative and team environment; handle multiple projects and priorities; analyze and interpret data; quickly identify business problems/opportunities; communicate in a clear and straightforward manner, both orally and in writing
• Hybrid Schedule: Four in-office days weekly

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills: Strong financial modeling and data analytical skills
• Abilities: Learn Oracle, Hyperion, and SAP software
