Position Summary
The Business Operations Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Senior Vice President of AI Data Centers and the broader team in delivering high-performance, scalable, and efficient AI infrastructure projects. This position combines project coordination, operational logistics, and executive support to ensure seamless execution of initiatives related to AI data center development and operations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. They will serve as the central point of coordination between leadership, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring clear communication, smooth workflows, and efficient problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination & Logistics
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking cross-functional AI data center projects from initiation to completion. Maintain project timelines, deliverables, and status updates in coordination with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
  • Facilitate procurement of hardware, networking equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery to data center sites.
  • Track and monitor project budgets, invoices, and expenditures to support cost control and financial reporting.
  • Coordinate travel, site visits, and logistics for leadership and project teams.

  • Executive & Operational Support
  • Provide high-level support to senior leadership, including meeting preparation, follow-up, and documentation of action items.
  • Draft and organize presentations, reports, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain an organized system for project files, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Act as a liaison between senior leadership and team members, vendors, contractors, and other departments

  • Communication & Reporting
  • Prepare and distribute project updates, dashboards, and progress reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and document project meetings, ensuring decisions and next steps are clearly communicated.
  • Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards across all AI data center projects.

Qualifications

  • Required:
  • 3+ years in project coordination, operations, or related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, MS Project, Smartsheet).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in data center operations, AI infrastructure, or high-tech project environments.
  • Familiarity with AI workloads, GPU clusters, or large-scale compute environments.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, budgeting, and vendor management.

This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. As such, candidates must be insurable under CleanSpark's vehicle insurance policy.
