The Business Operations Manager role is for an experienced individual contributor who will embed within our most critical cross-functional initiatives, ensuring strategic clarity and driving execution. You will apply broad expertise to significant and unique operational challenges, translating company strategy into actionable plans. This position requires conceptual thinking, independent judgment, and a focus on delivering measurable impact for the entire function.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the embedded strategic partner for select strategic priorities, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, and driving to outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic objectives into clear, actionable project plans and roadmaps.
  • Drive annual planning for the company, in collaboration with the exec team
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of enterprise-wide approaches to program execution, including tools, templates, and tracking methodologies.
  • Develop repeatable launch playbooks and frameworks to scale operational excellence across the organization.
  • Enable consistency in how programs are scoped, launched, and reviewed across diverse teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategically identify and allocate resources for high-priority initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and efficient project delivery.
  • Support change management efforts, acting as a control tower during periods of significant organizational change to ensure impacts are mapped, communicated, and managed effectively.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on goals and execution plans, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and coordinated.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to broader organizational projects, conveying advanced information and persuading diverse stakeholders.
  • Monitor execution across our biggest priorities—surfacing risks, bottlenecks, and misalignment early.
  • Run forums and exec updates that keep stakeholders informed, accountable, and focused on results.
  • Drive a culture of transparency, urgency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting.
  • Proven expertise in program or project management, business operations, or a related highly specialized field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on significant and complex issues, requiring strong business acumen and conceptual thinking to understand business implications.
  • Strong track record of exercising independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Experience creating formal networks involving coordination among senior leaders, employee groups and providing thought leadership on broader organizational projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey advanced information and persuade diverse stakeholders and audiences.
  • Recognized internally as a subject matter expert in program execution and operational best practices.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

  • Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.

The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $114,330 - $148,640 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $125,763 - $163,504 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $137,196 - $178,368 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $148,629 - $193,232+ equity + benefits
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.
Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
