About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Senior Manager to support our Merchant Services line of business. This role leads a team of Business Execution Consultants responsible for driving strategic planning, operational integration, and execution of initiatives that support and enhance Merchant Services. The position oversees complex, high-visibility programs, ensuring alignment with Wells Fargo policies, business objectives, and cross-functional partners across Commercial and Corporate Banking. The leader in this role manages resource allocation, identifies and mitigates risks, resolves operational challenges, and recommends process improvements to strengthen overall business performance. Responsibilities include guiding business routines, facilitating leadership meetings, preparing weekly executive-level presentations, and ensuring Merchant Services is effectively integrated across banking segments. The role also cultivates a strong talent development culture to enable the team to execute strategic priorities successfully.

In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
- Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives
- Identify potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
- Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
- Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
- Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
- Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
- 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years Management or leadership experience
- Business management, organizational leadership, or related fields with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, cross-functional coordination, executive advisory support, and operational execution
- Understanding of Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking and/or Global Payments and Liquidity/Treasury Management
- Executive presentation building
- Ability to work with and leverage data to make business decisions and report out on business performance
- Effectively balances leadership and oversight with hands-on execution to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Ability to lead business routines and leadership meetings, including executive level weekly presentations
- Collaborate with banking segments to ensure seamless integration of merchant services.
