In this role, you will:

The successful candidate will be an automation expert for UAT team of WIM. Key responsibility will be:
- Design, customization and optimization of test suites for web and desktop-based applications
- Work closely with various business and technical groups with both digital and mainframe capabilities to pursue and deliver automated solutions that drive efficiency and bring the Testing Services vision and strategy to life
- Perform Manual and automated testing
- Participating in BRD and FSD reviews.
- Provide status reporting, defect triage, test summary, testing traceability.
- Conduct meetings and reviews as needed with Operations and other stakeholders.
- Agile testing responsibilities include: grooming sessions, sprint planning and participation, daily SCRUM calls.
- Understand the existing automation framework and write automation code to automate the test cases
- Partner with the Line of Business, Risk/Compliance, and technology partners across Operations
- Perform manual and automated testing
- Consult with users providing advice and direction
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Drive innovation and streamline overall testing processes
- Research system features being tested
- Log, track and verify resolution of software and specification defects
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Overall 5 years of experience spanned across various testing area
- 2+ years of experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines or workflows, version control, test management, and integrating automation frameworks
- 3+ years of hands on experience in:
- Automation strategy, framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution
- Creating technology solutions for business and communicating value
- Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements
- Cucumber/BDD - based frameworks
- Play write with Type Script
- Selenium with Java - Junit/TestNG framework in VS Code
- Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN
- Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc.
- HP-QC/ALM/Octane, TFS, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool
- Software testing and automated test techniques with a strong focus on quality thorough the entire software development cycle
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
- Hands on expertise with test management tools like JIRA, Octane, Confluence etc...
- Experience in User Acceptance development & implementation
- Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications preferred
