About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant as part of the Money Movement and Account Opening and Maintenance Product Group within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). The primary goals of this Product team are to deliver innovative account opening and maintenance and money movement solutions that best serve our clients, financial advisors, and home office team members. The Business Execution Consultant will support development, delivery, and support of Account Opening and Maintenance technology solutions, with a specific focus on risk and controls.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the use cases, end to end flow, and automated control design for WIM account opening and maintenance and money movement technology solutions
  • Create and maintain procedure documentation for automated and manual controls owned by the product team
  • Facilitate control walkthrough meetings with control testing teams and other stakeholders as needed; ensure all follow-ups are completed timely and accurately
  • Provide guidance throughout the testing strategy for automated controls, ensuring controls are tested with the appropriate evidence prior to new technology going live
  • Execute manual control processes
  • Recommend opportunities to reduce risk and improve efficiency of control processes
  • Perform other implementation, support, and risk and control responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience of money movement processes and technology
  • Risk and control expertise
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the proven ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to take initiative and respond pro-actively to issues and escalations
  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and resolve problems with a focus on actionable outcomes
  • Experience writing and editing content for process and control procedures
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) skills
  • 2+ years of financial services experience
  • 2+ years of brokerage industry experience

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
