A newly created role responsible for the development and delivery of a robust portfolio of training courses, seminars, and conference events with the intention of maximizing revenues derived from the delivery of Trepp content and market expertise. The role will identify and subsequently deliver multiple revenue generating activities delivered via digital and in-person means from attendee fees, event sponsorship, training provision and other ad hoc tailored activities, including advisory and research work. The role combines sales, marketing, operational planning, and commercial strategy and will collaborate across departments and with external partners to optimize execution, revenue, and client engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy

  • Develop and maintain training and event portfolio, liaising closely with all relevant Trepp departments
  • Propose new initiatives and types of content delivery mechanisms for senior management consideration
  • Stay up to date with trends relating to training and event delivery, and maintain an appropriate level of industry expertise relating to Trepp’s key business sectors

Marketing and Sales

  • Establish a strategy and process for marketing training and events to existing clients
  • Generate new clients through networking, social media, and other methods of outreach 
  • Develop strategies and processes related to event sponsorships, and partnerships
  • Work closely with both Marketing and Sales departments to achieve the above
  • Establish and hit individual event revenue targets and in turn annual portfolio revenue generation targets

Operational Planning & Management

  • Work alongside relevant departments to produce event objectives, topics/agendas, budgets, and logistical plans.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction (both attendees and sponsors) through high quality event execution, management of vendors, and on-site coordination
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial and operational performance.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Support, Marketing, Product Management, and other teams to ensure high quality delivery, and alignment with business and departmental strategies 
  • Where appropriate maintain relationships with clients throughout the training activity, or event

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5 years or more proven experience in building a revenue generating training and events portfolio, including exposure to both commercial strategy design and operational delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation: 

Base salary ranges between $120k to $140k plus commission

Workplace Policy:

Trepp’s offices follow a 3-2 hybrid-working policy with the expectation of in-office work on Tuesday-Thursday and the option to work from home on Monday and Friday.
