As a Business Development Representative, you will identify and engage prospective clients, create selling opportunities, and support account executives in building relationships with potential customers.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will report directly to the Manager of Business Development in the Raleigh office. Your main goals are to collaborate with our Account Executives to open up important business opportunities for WalkMe. It will also require more strategy than a standard pipeline development role. You will be tasked with mapping out accounts we want to sell to and creating strategic plans for opening discussions with them. Your performance will depend on your ability to expand WalkMe's client base.
What You'll Own
- Expand WalkMe's client base by researching and targeting prospective accounts to create net-new selling opportunities
- Identify and create cross selling opportunities within customer accounts
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads; this includes adhering to the SLAs set for follow up on inbound leads (MQLs)
- Use creative communications designed to increase customer interest in WalkMe products
- Research prospective clients and acquiring high-level contacts
- Book initial qualification and/or discovery meetings for AE's within your assigned accounts
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts
- Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold (and warm) calls, emails and social selling
- Evangelize WalkMe and the Digital Adoption model
What You Need to Succeed
- You have grit and you don't give up easily
- Have experience creating new connections and building relationships
- Ability to think on your feet and pivot as circumstances change
- Interest in technical SaaS Sales
- Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience
- Sales training and salesforce.com, Outreach & Sales Navigator experience are a plus
- Outbound Lead generation experience is a plus
- Ability to work 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) in the Raleigh office

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay range for this role is between $55000 and $65000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits as part of our competitive total rewards package.
