About Wayflyer

Today's small businesses need a capital provider that keeps pace with their growth ambitions. Traditional financing options are slow, cumbersome and often out of reach. That's why we built Wayflyer.

Our technology allows us to assess businesses in minutes, generate financing offers that reflect their growth potential and send funds in as little as 24 hours. To date, we've deployed over $6bn to thousands of businesses worldwide, backed by Tier 1 banks like J.P. Morgan.

You'll be collaborating with ambitious colleagues from around the world. We have offices in Dublin, London, New York, Charlotte, Berlin and Sydney.

The challenge

We've deployed over $6bn to small businesses that traditional banks were too slow, too rigid, or too disinterested to back. Now we're growing fast, and we need a world-class sales team to continue the momentum, finding the founders who need us before they know we exist.

What you'll actually do

You'll be the first voice a lot of founders ever hear from Wayflyer. That matters. Your job is to cut through the noise - smart outreach, real conversations, and get the right businesses in front of our Account Executives. You'll qualify funding needs, build genuine rapport with founders, and figure out pretty quickly that the best reps here aren't order-takers. They're curious, they hustle, and they care about getting it right.

What this role could turn into

We'll be honest -this isn't a role we're hiring you to stay in forever. It's a launchpad. Most BDRs move into Account Executive or Customer Success roles within 12–18 months, and we plan for it actively through our Revenue Academy - a structured programme that builds the skills, deal exposure, and commercial fluency you need before you ever step into your next seat. Your manager isn't just hitting you with pipeline reviews; they're invested in where you want to go and what it takes to get there.

We're building careers here, not just filling headcount. The people who thrive with us are the ones who are hungry to grow - and we take it as our responsibility to make sure the path is there when they are.

Who thrives here

You've worked in a target-driven environment before and you didn't just survive it, you wanted more. You're the kind of person who reads a rejection email and immediately thinks about what to try differently. You spot problems outside your lane and you can't help yourself. You'll probably end up doing things that aren't in this job description. That's not a warning, it's the point.

We hire for range

We care more about trajectory than tenure. Relevant sales experience is important, but what we're really looking for beyond that is someone who's hungry, commercially sharp, and genuinely excited by the challenge. Fluent English is a must. Startup experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Location and working policy

📍Charlotte, hybrid (3-4 days per week in the office)

The good stuff

25 days off, plus public holidays. Private healthcare, life insurance, and 401k. Equity - because you should own a piece of what you're building. Generous parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers. 60 days a year to work abroad from wherever you want.
