About the role:  

As a Business Development Representative Manager, you’ll lead a group of Sales Professionals who stand as the front line of our well-established Sales Organization. The BDR team is directly responsible for driving qualified leads and pipeline - we’re looking for someone who can dive headfirst into this role and help us build and lead this organization.  
 

What you will do:  
 
In this role, you will be leading a team to generate new business opportunities (pre-qualified leads) in support of Digital.ai sales goals and objectives. 
 

  • Build predictable pipeline through inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting  
  • Drive the creation of sales leads through outbound strategies, including calling, emailing, and social media outreach, utilizing platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Outreach, in collaboration with lead generation programs 
  • Build, hire and train a global BDR team 
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to improve performance and achieve sales targets 
  • Identify and nurture team members, preparing them for future sales roles within the organization 
  • Develop and implement strategies for demand generation activities, including writing prospecting emails, social touches, call scripts, etc.  
  • Foster long-term opportunities by maintaining communication with potential clients during the early stages before the sales cycle begins 
  • Assist in strategic and targeted sales and marketing campaigns by collecting and analyzing comprehensive data 
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of sales techniques and product differentiators 
  • Work cross functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and other areas of the business 
      

What you will bring:
 

  • 5+ years proven experience in a BDR or sales management role 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills 
  • Experience creating prospecting messages in the form of call scripts, emails, LinkedIn connects, and InMails 
  • Experience in training, coaching, and developing sales talent 
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve high performance 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Proficiency with sales and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach) 
  • Located in the Raleigh, NC area and able to work in our HQ office
