Business Manager / Executive Business Partner – Retail & Consumer Goods IndustryIn this Role

In this strategic and highly visible position, you will support a senior executive who leads initiatives across the retail and consumer goods industry. You’ll serve as a trusted partner and operational linchpin—ensuring alignment across business priorities, facilitating key customer engagements, managing the rhythm of the business, and collaborating with global teams. This role offers rare exposure to executive decision-making, global strategy, and high-profile industry events, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional seeking a pivotal business support role with global impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Support & Meeting Readiness: Attend and document all internal and customer meetings alongside the executive; manage action items and ensure follow-through; proactively prepare briefings and meeting materials.

  • Business Operations: Own the rhythm of the business by working closely with the executive assistant and communications staff to manage calendars, align deliverables, and drive business cadences.

  • Event & Engagement Planning: Support the preparation and execution of industry events, customer presentations, and internal business reviews. Travel may be required for domestic and international events.

  • Cross-Team Coordination: Liaise with global industry chiefs of staff and other business managers to ensure alignment across functions and geographies; drive collaboration with account and field sales teams.

  • Presentation & Content Development: Develop and refine executive-level PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and Excel trackers that reflect a deep understanding of business priorities and audience expectations.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years in business management, chief of staff, or executive business partner roles within large, complex organizations.

  • C-suite Support: Proven track record supporting senior executives, managing complex schedules, and enabling strategic decision-making.

  • Global Collaboration: Experience working with international teams across time zones and cultures.

  • Tools Proficiency:

    • PowerPoint – 10+ years: Expert-level presentation development.

    • Word/Excel – 10+ years: Proficiency in documentation and operational tracking.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, executive presence, and the ability to represent the leader internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry Experience: Familiarity with the retail and consumer goods space or adjacent verticals.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.

  • Event Management: Experience planning and supporting high-profile events or customer engagements.

  • Tech/Consulting Background: Experience at a major tech company or top-tier consulting firm is highly desirable.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $90,000 to $95,000 USD annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
