The Role:

The Business Development Team is a critical component of DailyPay’s growth engine. Our team focuses on identifying and developing unique partnership opportunities that support DailyPay’s mission to bring On-Demand Pay everywhere. As a Business Development Manager you will spearhead high-impact growth initiatives by developing win-win scenarios for DailyPay and prospective partners. You will work cross-functionally to evaluate strategic opportunities, identify potential partners, develop business cases and manage the end-to- end deal process.

How You Will Make an Impact:

This role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and an ability to drive complex projects from concept to completion. You will also be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of business development, from initial sourcing and contract negotiation to future upsell, ensuring that partnerships align with DailyPay’s goals and deliver value.

  • Drive the full lifecycle of business development initiatives, from identifying potential opportunities to executing and scaling partnerships.

  • Lead contract negotiations, collaborating closely with internal teams such as Legal, Product, and Finance to finalize agreements.

  • Drive growth by upselling existing partnerships, introducing new products and services that align with partner needs and enhance mutual value.

  • Build and maintain financial models to assess partnership opportunities and inform long-term planning.

  • Partner with Sales leadership to identify and develop new lead generation partnership opportunities through business development initiatives.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify areas for innovation and growth.

What You Bring to The Team:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with a track record of successfully driving growth through partnerships.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven ability to close complex, high-value deals.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and articulate business concepts clearly to stakeholders.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.

  • Experience working at a startup and/or in the HCM or payments industry a plus
