Manufactured Technologies Corporation is looking for a Business Development Manager for Central United States Region.

MTC was formed in 2005 to provide an affordable, high level cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) product to the marketplace. Backed by over 40 years of expertise and the latest manufacturing techniques, MTC has a reputation for providing CIPP that is constructed for optimal installation and long-term performance.

  • Determine and sell optimal Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) installations within the water and wastewater industry

  • Identify, develop and close sales opportunities to help achieve its revenue and profit goals

  • Conduct in-person and/or digital sales calls with existing customers and prospects

  • Qualify leads for subsequent opportunities using Salesforce (our CRM tool)

  • Remain current on sales performance – i.e., status updates on activity, forecast and wins

  • Prepare quotes and set pricing including technical specifications within the bid/scope documents

  • Assist customers with product design questions, submittals, technical data and deliver prompt investigation of client concerns, providing solutions and/or referral to appropriate MTC staff

  • Cultivate market intelligence and perform analysis of competitor products, services and pricing

  • Route customer orders and wet out requests to Customer Service team

  • Represent MTC at trade shows and/or professional organizations

  • Assist with A/R collections

  • Participate in the development of future business plans, sales and marketing communications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or Construction Management

  • 5 years sales experience within the water and wastewater trenchless industry, CIPP (preferred)

  • Must be comfortable meeting sales activity and performance expectations with a genuine interest in serving customers, self-motivated, competitive and achievement oriented, and capable of working independently within a team structure while being supervised remotely

  • Strong interpersonal skills – good listener/communicator, problem solver and negotiator

  • Must be able to travel 50 to 75% of the time
