Whether you are a tech sales pro tired of selling boring "widgets," or a museum/arts professional ready to pivot your industry expertise into an innovative tech career, as an Adage Business Development Executive (Arts & Culture), you will find your home here.

The difference we make

At Adage, we do our part to make the world a better place through technology.

In this pursuit, we get to help a lot of really cool clients (think The American Museum of Natural History, Kennedy Center, Metropolitan Museum of Art) to make an actual difference in the communities they serve through their digital presence.

Our team consists of people who are incredibly smart, inspiringly driven, impressively kind, and always fun. We are routinely recognized as one of Chicago's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois, and on Crain's Best Places to Work in Chicago.

The impact you'll have

We already have an impressive reputation in the arts sector; all we're missing is you. We are looking for EITHER a driven B2B technology sales professional excited to focus on the cultural sector OR an arts & culture industry veteran (from sales, marketing, digital, or similar) ready to use your insider knowledge to solve problems for your peers.

You'll work closely with our VP of Strategic Growth, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to execute a strategy targeting leading arts and culture organizations. If you come from the industry, you will leverage your deep understanding of operations and pain points to build instant trust. If you come from sales, you will apply your closing skills to a vibrant, passionate vertical.

You will be an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the vertical, attending key conferences and feeding insights back to our teams. You'll grow your consultative business skills, managing complex negotiations and ensuring a seamless handoff to our Account Management team to ensure long-term client success.

The benefits you'll love

As a Business Development Executive at Adage, you'll enjoy work-life balance with flex schedules, remote-work options, and 20+ days of paid time off annually. Adage offers excellent benefits with 85% employer-paid insurance, profit-sharing bonuses, 401k contributions, and FSA.
