In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
The C4ISR Business area of BAE Systems is searching for a Business Development Lead in the Intelligence Community (IC) & DoD Space Ground systems market. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying, maturing and winning new business opportunities. This role requires independence, resourcefulness, and a customer orientation. The BD professional must be capable of developing and maintaining customer and industry relationships in pursuit of new business while also progressing business development activities within classified environments In addition, this very broad business area demands a business development professional capable of driving new defense, intelligence, space and ground systems business as a prime and or sub-contractor. The position will report to the Mission Systems Business Development Director.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience executing detailed campaign plans to include customer identification and engagement activities. The BD lead must have strong customer and industry contacts within the IC & DoD Space Communities.
  • Working knowledge of US Government contracting, contract types and procurement processes and must be team-oriented and demonstrate strong reasoning and communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated skills in all areas of business development including opportunity qualification capture strategy, customer visits, customer relationship development, relationship development with competition, team leadership, lead and follow core business development processes.
  • Have participated in business planning activities, to include periodic pipeline reviews, operating plan development, bid agenda development, opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, win theme and discriminator workshops, and proposal reviews.
  • Experience managing activities necessary to transform qualified opportunities into wins.
  • Must currently possess US Top Secret Clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
