- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across assigned regions and sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, partners, and stakeholders.
- Drive the acquisition of new merchants while increasing transaction volumes and retention rates.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential growth areas.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective merchants.
- Monitor and analyze merchant performance to ensure consistent engagement and growth.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with company objectives and profitability targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- 2–5 years proven experience in business development, sales, or merchant acquisition (preferably in fintech, or banking).
- Strong understanding of payment systems, POS operations, and merchant management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and business growth.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
- Experience managing large merchant portfolios or key accounts.
- Familiarity with digital payment solutions, fintech products, and transaction data analytics.
- Strong problem-solving ability and resilience in handling client challenges.
