Job Description

The Business Architect Expert role oversees the strategic direction and development of a product portfolio or line of products within the organization. Responsibilities include defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business objectives and customer needs. The role often involves leading cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with stakeholders from the lines of business, technology, and user experience and driving product innovation and growth initiatives. Additionally, they play a key role in setting product priorities, ensuring successful product launches and lifecycle management, and strategically identifying assumptions and solutions, validating them using product discovery and design techniques. Ultimately, they are accountable for driving business results and maximizing the value delivered by the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of business architecture solutions and making recommendations for enhancements as needed, performing process development, improvement, rollout, and integration activities, and optimizing process oversight with process agility.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and guiding the implementation of initiative, operating at the capability-level, in support of broader platforms, and developing functional systems flow to ensure the efficacy of new capabilities.
  • Engage in discovery/test and learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and capability or solution direction to achieve business results. Ensure execution of initiatives, proactively engaging with stakeholder groups to collect insights and feedback.
  • Developing and maintaining business architecture models, frameworks, and roadmaps, production, quality, and customer service goals.
  • Guide the implementation of the initiative, collaborating with stakeholders to align business strategies with technology solutions, working with other product owners to ensure integration between capabilities within a platform.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced Digital Business Architects to support their career progression, with the opportunity for advancement into supervisory roles.
  • Analyzing, understanding and recovery of the organization's current business processes, goals, and objectives. Identifying opportunities for improvement, optimization, and reuse within the business architecture, while adhering to design principles and user experience.
  • Articulate the potential benefits of transformation initiatives in the Innovation portfolio and collaborate on prioritizing high-value work
  • Collaborate with other Digital Business Architects to ensure cohesive integration between work streams.
  • Collaboratively drive transformation initiative strategy, vision, and roadmap, advocating for innovative ideas across the organization.
Experience
  • 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 120,000.00 - 193,725.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
