Position Summary:
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join a forward-thinking IT organization focused on driving innovation and operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify gaps in current workflows, and support the design and testing of enterprise-level systems. Your ability to blend business insight with technical expertise will be key in aligning solutions with strategic goals.
Role Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
- Evaluate current business processes and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate on the design, configuration, and testing of software systems and tools.
- Create detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and business requirement documents.
- Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Support testing efforts, including test plan creation, execution, and issue tracking.
- Recommend system enhancements and process improvements based on findings and best practices.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of systems automation and process design across multiple teams or departments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with process modeling and documentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Background in regulated environments
