Your role at a glance

The Business Analyst is a seasoned subject matter expert responsible for enabling operational excellence through scalable tooling platforms and actionable analytics. This role supports global construction initiatives by integrating monitoring, automation, and reporting tools, and partnering with cross-functional teams to align tooling capabilities with strategic goals. The analyst drives innovation in data architecture and visualization to support continuous improvement and transparency.

What we are looking for

Key responsibilities Core Business Analysis & Strategic Alignment Act as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables. Analyze, transform, and resolve business problems through data-driven and technology-enabled solutions. Work with internal stakeholders to determine business requirements using best‑practice methodologies. Deliver business projects in alignment with sponsor expectations and enterprise architecture standards. Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure tooling, data, and analytics capabilities support evolving strategic goals. Data Foundations & Performance Measurement Build and maintain foundational datasets reflecting infrastructure usage, efficiency, and scalability. Define and operationalize KPI frameworks and success metrics to monitor global construction and infrastructure performance. Establish source‑of‑truth dashboards and reporting that guide infrastructure, investment, and product decisions. Define, track, and continually refine metrics that evaluate model effectiveness and drive performance improvement. Analytics & Strategic Impact Lead end‑to‑end analytics initiatives to inform infrastructure strategy, investment prioritization, and operational excellence. Conduct scenario modeling, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses to identify risks, gaps, and growth opportunities. Apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to solve complex problems using large structured and unstructured datasets. Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, explainable insights for executive and non‑technical stakeholders. Data Products, Automation & Tooling Develop and maintain scalable tooling platforms that support operational excellence across global construction. Identify, design, and automate recurring reporting, analytics workflows, and data processes using scalable data products and agentic solutions. Integrate monitoring, automation, and reporting tools to enhance visibility, performance, and compliance. Deliver dynamic, executive‑ready dashboards that enable real‑time KPI tracking and decision‑making. Machine Learning, AI & Advanced Modeling Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning and AI models used for analytics, prediction, personalization, and optimization. Ensure robust performance measurement, drift monitoring, and continuous improvement of deployed models. Drive innovation in model development, data architecture, and visualization to support transparency and continuous improvement. Leadership, Influence & Capability Building Elevate analytics maturity by mentoring team members and cross‑functional partners. Promote best practices in data governance, experimentation, model measurement, and performance management. Champion high‑quality documentation including requirements, test cases, workflows, and user guides. Foster stakeholder alignment through clear communication, structured problem‑solving, and results‑oriented delivery. KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Proven ability to contribute to performance strategies that drive operational excellence and business outcomes. Extended knowledge of data center facilities, infrastructure, best practices, and industry standards Extended communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, stakeholder management, and reporting. Extended problem-solving and analytical abilities to address complex challenges. Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices. Good financial acumen, budgeting skills, and seasoned understanding of business practices and processes. Excellent team player with a strong service orientation and meticulous attention to detail while working under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of process mapping and project management methodologies. Strong analytical skills to convert business requirements into operational deliverables. Proficiency in documentation including functional requirements, test cases, and user guides. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS Required Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technology‑related discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience. Desired / Advantageous Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI‑PBA). Relevant technology certification(s) such as ITIL. Six Sigma or other process‑improvement certifications. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 7+ years of experience in a highly quantitative role, ideally within a high‑growth or research‑driven environment. Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience working on large, complex datasets. Demonstrated experience defining and operationalizing system performance, resource utilization, and efficiency metrics from the ground up. Proven track record of building complex datasets and analytical models that influence technical and strategic decisions. Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, experimental design, and quantitative analysis. Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), with additional capability in SQL and R. Experience working with large datasets. Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear, explainable, auditable insights for executive audiences. Advanced Excel skills for business analysis and modeling. Seasoned experience in business‑requirements gathering, use‑case definition, and process mapping. Desired / Advantageous Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Seasoned experience as a Business Analyst within a technology‑services environment. Seasoned experience as a system administrator or developer. Experience implementing new services and systems. Seasoned experience with all operational aspects of a services business, preferably within a systems‑integrator environment. Experience managing or supporting data‑center construction or infrastructure‑scale projects (optional but relevant to your org). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Remain stationary for long periods of time. Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. Perform work during US business hours and time zones. Work conditions & other requirements Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection

Compensation Pay Range

For roles residing in the US, we share pay and benefit levels to support pay transparency requirements. For other countries, we are more than happy to share our competitive pay and benefit levels during the interview process.


This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.


NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is:

$118,300 - $169,000

All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
