Tiger Analytics is an advanced analytics consulting firm. We are the trusted analytics partner for several Fortune 1000 companies, enabling them to generate business value from data. Our consultants bring deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI. We're looking for a consulting professional, preferably at a managerial level, with excellent storytelling experience. This person will collaborate with senior leadership and the offshore team and has to have some background in the Insurance industry. The candidate has to have exposure to and understand the insurance business as he/she will be working to empower the existing insurance products of the client.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data using platforms such as SQL Server and Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain analytical queries to answer business questions and generate actionable insights.
  • Utilize Excel for advanced data manipulation, visualization, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data outputs.
  • Validate data pipelines and ETL processes to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Solid understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to enhance data flow, ensure data integrity, and improve overall system performance.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years in data analysis and profiling, specifically within the healthcare insurance domain with a graduate degree in Business Analytics, MBA, or a related field.
  • Robust, hands-on experience with SQL and Snowflake, coupled with strong Python programming skills and proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Must have some Insurance industry background and potentially well versed with the billing functionalities (Payroll billing, Direct Billing)
  • Convert business requirements into smaller workstreams for the data engineers and other analysts on the team
  • Use data to drive actionable insights and calculate the impact of various launched features.
  • Knowledge of statistical and machine learning algorithms
  • Strong project management and team management skills and ability to work with global teams
