Oates Energy seeks a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team remotely. This position will handle daily financial transactions, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Position Overview
The Remote Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of Oates Energy, including processing invoices, handling payroll, and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Track daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and financial records regularly.
- Payroll: Assist with processing payroll for employees.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for management.
- Tax Preparation: Assist with preparing documents for tax filings.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $26+ per hour (depending on experience).
