What We Need: 

The Billing & Supplier Analyst is pivotal in overseeing day-to-day operations within the accounts payable department, with a specific focus on maintaining DME Supplier payment integrity.  

What You Will Do: 

  • Conduct monthly statement audits for new Suppliers and markets, focusing on new rentals and initial mail-order product deliveries.  
  • Perform monthly pre-billing reviews and data quality analyses to ensure the accuracy of Supplier statements.  
  • Receive, track, and process Supplier adjustments to ensure timely and accurate month-end statements. 
  • Analyze patient billed charges against Supplier statement line items, conducting contractual and payor reviews to identify and mitigate billing risks. 
  • Support special billing projects, ensuring deadlines are met and audits are conducted successfully. 
  •  Develop and generate reports to address management needs, analyzing information for trends and recommending process improvements.  
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal departments regarding Supplier billing matters.  
  • Collaborate with the Supplier operations team to maintain accurate Supplier statement information in the system of record. 
  • Assist in complex billing and Supplier finance projects, demonstrating analytical skills and initiative.  
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings, training activities, and continuing education to stay updated on business operations and procedures. 
  • Assist in resolving billing issues to address Supplier dissatisfaction. 
  • Maintain Supplier onboarding documents and update the Supplier database with billing and payment information.  
  • Utilize HCPCS coding knowledge to ensure accurate billing and compliance. 
  • Leverage advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.  
  • Apply strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 

What You Have:

  • High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.  
  • At least years in the healthcare industry, DME operations/billing experience preferred.  
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.  
  • Analytical prowess for effective problem-solving.  
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.  
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, and the ability to learn job-specific software systems.
