This position will participate in the Revenue and Billing function, working closely with other business teams, including Operations, Customer Excellence, and Implementations. It will require regular interaction with key members of Stord's leadership team. An independent working style with an ability to work in a dynamic environment is a crucial necessity for success in this position.

What you’ll do:
  • Complex Invoice Generation & Data Analytics: You will handle the preparation of complex client invoices for both fulfillment services and parcel. This will require you to perform data analytics on large datasets, applying expertise in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, to ensure accurate and detailed billing.

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Excellence, Operations, and Implementations teams when new customers are onboarded, to understand customer workflows and how they relate to rate cards.  

  • Customer Relations: Building strong relationships with customers to resolve disputes in order to facilitate timely payments.  

  • Process Documentation and Best Practices: Regularly document and update billing procedures, while recommending and implementing best practices to improve efficiency and leverage data management tools.

  • KPI Reporting & Analysis: Provide management with key performance indicators. Leverage data analysis to offer deep visibility into critical billing issues, revenue trends, and operational variances.

  • Audit Support: Assist with requests related to internal and external audits.

What you’ll need:
  • WMS/OMS Experience: A strong understanding of 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations and data flow between WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and OMS (Order Management Systems) is essential.

  • Educational/Industry Background: A bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics or 5 years experience in omnichannel, supply chain, parcel, or logistics-related industry is preferred. Direct experience working with 3PL billing and processes is highly desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, including mastery of functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas for data analysis. Experience with Freshdesk, Salesforce, NetSuite a plus.

  • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to perform data analytics on copious amounts of data to prepare customer invoices, identify discrepancies, and investigate billing issues.

  • Soft Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills, fostering effective collaboration both within the team and other departments, time management, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are critical.

  • Personal Attributes: A self-motivated, organized, strategic thinker with a keen attention to detail.
