The Billing Manager leads teams to ensure billing accuracy and compliance, manages process health, and implements improvements to enhance performance.
The Billing Manager is responsible for leading supervisors and teams to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of billing operations. Oversees end-to-end process health, validates controls, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and minimize customer impact. Collaborates cross-functionally to support the development of technical and procedural enhancements that align with organizational goals.
Job Duties:• Manages supervisors and teams in the Billing group.• Responsible for the overall billing and/or payment process health.• Validates process controls.• Develops, recommends and ensures implementation of process improvements, new initiatives and projects for end-to-end billing and/or payment.• Ensures billing and/or payment processes minimize customer impact.• Ensures teams monitor, track and trend control reports.• Identifies abnormalities and either resolves or refers to more senior management for consideration and resolution.• Coordinates audits to ensure compliance with billing and/or payment protocol, company policies and applicable regulations.• Recommends steps for ongoing process improvement.• May represent Billing on cross functional working groups in the design and development of technical and related procedural improvements• Any other task asked by the management team.
Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year experience in a related field; or 10 years' experience in a related field.• 1+ year of experience in management or lead role.
USD 87,200.00 - 130,800.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $87,200.00 - $130,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
