We have an opportunity for a Bilingual Business Development Representative to join our pool sales teams in Coppell, Phoenix, and Charlotte. You will act as the primary remote point of contact, ensuring customers receive prompt, knowledgeable assistance and value from their Pentair partnership. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for problem-solving and building value-based relationships in a dynamic, remote-selling environment, ultimately driving revenue attainment and enhancing dealer loyalty.

You will:

  • Drive New Business Growth: Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities by conducting targeted research and engaging prospects that fit Pentair's ideal customer profile with a specific focus on the unique needs and purchasing motivations of servicers.
  • Re-engage and Reacquire Accounts: Identify and execute strategies to re-engage lost or dissatisfied accounts and prevent churn, acting as a trusted advisor who navigates challenging conversations to reinforce Pentair's commitment and value.
  • Research and Identify Leads: Partner with marketing and product training teams to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and leverage data to uncover high-potential leads and emerging opportunities.
  • Develop Foundational Relationships: Initiate and cultivate initial trust and rapport with potential clients through personalized, multi-channel outreach (e.g., cold calls, targeted emails, social media engagement), demonstrating a deep understanding of their business challenges and objectives, especially for servicers who may be motivated by immediate benefits and specific programs.
  • Qualify and Advance Opportunities: Guide early-stage conversations to uncover prospect needs and determine if they are qualified sales leads, ensuring that high-probability leads are prepared for the next stage of engagement, providing crucial feedback to Marketing on lead quality.
  • Collaborate for Success: Act as a key liaison between Marketing and Sales teams, providing valuable market feedback on lead quality and prospect insights to help refine go-to-market strategy and messaging.
  • Maintain CRM Excellence: Track all prospecting activities, lead statuses, and prospect interactions in Salesforce to ensure data integrity and provide clear visibility into pipeline performance, addressing current data integrity issues.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bilingual required (English/Spanish)
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a business development, inside sales, or similar lead generation role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed activity and opportunity-generation targets.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, personalized outreach messages and handle initial customer interactions effectively, demonstrating active listening and empathy.
  • A high level of resilience, a competitive nature, and the ability to handle rejection with a positive, growth-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of outbound activity and prioritize high-potential leads.
  • Proven ability to negotiate effectively to reacquire lost business and entice switches from competitors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms, with experience in data analysis for lead prioritization.
  • Experience researching companies and contacts to drive outreach.
  • A foundational understanding of the pool and spa industry, its key challenges, and Pentair's product portfolio, with a specific appreciation for servicer needs.

Shift/Hours:
