Position: BI Architect

Job Location: Charlotte, NC 28255

Duration: 12+ Months Contract plus Extensions

Position Description:

This position will sit within the Global Liquidity Risk Management Technology Group within Bank of America. This position seeks to fill the need for a Senior Business Intelligence Architect/Developer. The individual selected for this role will be experienced in Microstrategy, Tableau and SQL as well as be well versed in the large-scale enterprise SDLC processes. The role will lead the design and build for a reporting layer supporting the new Metadata Management solution for Corporate Treasury. Individual should have experience with various databases platforms including Netezza (primary), Oracle, Teradata and SQL Server.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• MicroStrategy/Tableau architecture, hierarchical relationships, object dependencies, etc.

• Building highly customized reports and developing creative solutions to apply business logic.

• Ability to optimize, analyze, and improve databaseSQL performance. (Netezza, SQLServer).

• Working on MicroStrategy/Tableau Administration, Desktop, Web, Report Services Document, Distribution Services.

• Performance tuning and troubleshooting.

• Debug and fix production/existing issues.

• Interact with business for requirement gathering and support Knowledge on Data warehousing concepts, Tools & Techniques, SDLC.

• End to end knowledge of business intelligence and data warehousing architectures

Experience/Skills:

• 5-7 Years of strong experience as MicroStrategy/Tableau Developer.

• 5-7 years experience in databases – SQL Server and Netezza preferred

• 3-4 years experience in MicroStrategy/Tableau architecture

• 5-7 years experience setting up reporting environments

• Strong knowledge of relational databases, Data Warehouse and business Intelligence solutions

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Excellent written/verbal communications skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks/projects according to priorities

• Ability to work in a group or team environment

• Strong SQL skills
