The Benefits Experience Events Specialist will manage and execute a variety of benefits-related events, including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and Employee Relief Fund initiatives, while ensuring seamless coordination with vendors and stakeholders. This role will involve creating engaging educational materials, tracking employee engagement, and continuously improving the benefits experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
USD 59,600.00 - 89,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $59,600.00 - $89,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Responsibilities:
Event Coordination & Execution
- Support the planning and execution of a variety of benefits-related events, including healthcare, wellness, lifestyle, retirement, and Cox Employee Relief Fund ("CERF") initiatives.
- Organize health-focused events (e.g., vaccination clinics, onsite screenings, Cox 5k, etc.) to promote employee well-being.
- Coordinate benefits events to engage employees in targeted locations, ensuring broad access to benefits information.
- Arrange fundraising activities to support and raise awareness for CERF.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth event logistics, quality service, and employee satisfaction.
- Represent Cox Benefits and CERF at community and networking events, such as the American Heart Association Walk, etc.
Employee Experience
- Continuously assess the effectiveness of benefits-related events by gathering employee feedback, tracking engagement metrics, and compiling sentiment data.
- Use feedback to recommend and implement improvements to future events and overall benefits experience.
- Support the integration of benefits education into broader employee engagement initiatives, including M&A, new hires, and company-wide events (e.g., CTA).
Education & Communication
- Partner with the Benefits and Communications team to develop engaging event materials, including presentations, digital content, and handouts, that clearly communicate benefits offerings.
- Build and maintain a library of presentation decks and educational resources for quick deployment at events.
- Create and update Benefits educational content for internal platforms like Learn@Cox to support ongoing benefits education.
- Ensure that all event-related marketing materials align with the company's benefits brand, style guides, and templates.
Event Reporting
- Monitor and track event requests and participation, while maintaining a comprehensive event calendar to ensure seamless scheduling and logistics coordination.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (business, human resources management, public relations, or related discipline) and 2 years' experience organizing and managing events or project management. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or in lieu of a degree, 6 years' experience in a related field.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable presenting in front of small to large groups (10-500.)
- Creating promotional material experience in Power Point or Adobe Express. Creating social media experience (posts/reels) preferred.
- Strong customer service focus and excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and establish relationships.
- Strong cross functional collaboration and communication skills.
