About the company:

Lemon.io is an autopilot for recruiting.

We've replaced the slow, expensive recruiting agency with a platform that delivers vetted, responsive candidates, ready for a final interview. In days, not weeks.

Hundreds of fast-growing companies (like Retool, Function Health, and Pinterest) use Lemon to build their engineering teams, from early-stage startups to enterprises.
We're remote-first, profitable, and growing at a moment when the legacy recruiting industry is being rewritten in real time.

About the role:

You'll run the founder's outreach.

Founder-led sales and partnership building are among our highest-leverage ways to grow. You'll help define who's worth reaching, and build a steady pipeline of meetings with them: prospects, potential partners, and people worth knowing.

Responsibilities:

  • Find the right people to reach, inside and outside the founder's network: prospects, partners, and people worth knowing.
  • Reach out on the founder’s behalf, warm up contacts, and book meetings.
  • Monitor social media to spot people worth engaging.
  • Manage the pipeline in the CRM, and help prep the founder for each meeting.

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of SDR, BDR, or outbound sales experience (ideally in tech), with a proven track record of building pipelines from zero.
  • Exceptional communication skills (9/10 in written English, 7/10 in spoken English): clear, concise, persuasive, and relationship-savvy, with a focus on high-personalization outreach (no spray-and-pray).
  • Proactive, ambitious mindset with a strong desire to scale impact by building and leading a team once processes are proven.
  • High emotional intelligence, process-minded approach, and comfort building from scratch in a fast-paced startup.
  • A strong feel for the tech and startup world: you follow the founders, investors, and topics that matter, and can spot who's worth knowing.
  • Able to work US Eastern business hours.

Why Lemon.io:

  • Profitable and bootstrapped. No fundraising pressure, real business fundamentals
  • A pivotal moment: we're building the product, not maintaining it
  • Small team, high ownership. Your work is visible and your decisions ship
  • eNPS of 63. People here care and stay
  • Direct access to founders and leadership - no layers.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary in USD
  • Full remote with flexible working hours
  • 28 working days of vacation per year
  • 7 days of sick leave
  • Annual reimbursements: health, self-development, travel, home office, mental wellness
  • Startup culture with open communication.
