Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Banner to Workday Conversion Developers to support a long-term university Workday implementation program. In this role, you will partner closely with the program team and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and execute Workday data conversions following industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Banner data structures, along with hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation logic, and Workday conversion execution. This role will also involve converting data from additional legacy applications being retired as part of the program.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute data conversion programs from Banner to Workday
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities aligned with Workday conversion standards
- Collaborate with university stakeholders and program teams to understand conversion requirements
- Partner with system owners across other legacy platforms to support broader enterprise data conversion efforts
- Develop and deliver conversion validation reports to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Troubleshoot conversion issues and resolve defects throughout tenant build cycles
- Support multiple tenant deployments by running conversion programs and assisting with validation activities
- Maintain documentation for conversion processes, mapping, and test results
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Banner to Workday data conversions
- Strong knowledge of Banner data models, reporting, and extraction logic
- Hands-on experience with Workday conversion tools and methodologies
- Expertise in data transformation, validation, and reconciliation
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP or university HR/Finance implementations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
