The salary range for a Backend Engineer - Go Development is $160,000 - $225,000, and you will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.

Specifically, you'll be responsible for:
- Investigating and utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to continuously improve application architecture, including Kafka and Elasticsearch instances deployed in GCP
- Implementing microservices using the Go programming language
- Integrating with 3rd party APIs related to payments, banking, loyalty, commerce and property management
- Proposing and enhancing automation initiatives related to infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring and alerting
- Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code
- Working with AI tools such as Copilot and Devin to accelerate feature delivery
- Becoming a foundational member of our team, working alongside Directors of Engineering and Product
In terms of qualifications, we're seeking:
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven hands-on Software Development experience
- Proven working experience in Go development, REST, API security standards, Google Cloud Platform (BigTable, BigQuery, Cloud Run, GKE), Kafka, and Elasticsearch
- Great interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-player approach
- Knowledge of the start-up world
