About the Role
As the Data Engineering Lead for B2B Data Products, you will help design, build, and scale data solutions that extend the capabilities of our B2B Identity platform. In this role, you will create high‑quality B2B data attributes, strengthen professional‑to‑consumer linkage processes, and champion engineering excellence across the product ecosystem.

You will collaborate closely with partners across product, identity, and engineering to align goals, shape strategy, and deliver consistent, reliable data experiences. This position is ideal if you enjoy leading technical initiatives, mentoring teams, and using AI to accelerate development and operations.

What You’ll DoProduct & Partnership
  • Partner with product leaders to translate product strategy into technical workstreams and delivery plans.
  • Work with identity leadership to understand platform services, data structures, APIs, and matching logic.
  • Ensure engineering decisions support product goals around data quality, availability, accuracy, and linkage completeness.
Data Engineering & Linkage Development
  • Design and maintain data pipelines that process firmographic, professional, and consumer‑level data attributes.
  • Implement logic that connects professional B2B contacts with consumer identities using established match rules and identity services.
  • Build scalable, observable, high‑quality workflows with strong QA, lineage, documentation, and SLA alignment.
  • Apply best practices for schema design, metadata management, versioning, and operational documentation.
Technical Leadership
  • Create architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and component‑level design documentation.
  • Guide architectural decisions, conduct technical reviews, and support engineering quality across the team.
  • Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, including offshore team members, with clarity, structure, and support.
  • Promote consistent standards in coding, testing, deployment, and observability.
AI‑Enhanced Engineering
  • Use AI to support engineering tasks, including code assistance, test generation, documentation, anomaly detection, and diagnostics.
  • Introduce and scale AI‑driven workflows that reduce cycle time and enhance reliability.
  • Support the team in building AI fluency and adopting effective automated practices.
What You Bring

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields, including experience leading teams or technical programs.
  • 5+ years working with B2B identity data (firmographic attributes, professional attributes, entity resolution, identity lineage).
  • Experience delivering or operating B2B data products in production environments.
  • Ability to integrate with existing identity systems and platforms.
  • Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across product, data science, platform, and governance teams.
  • Experience working with offshore engineering partners.
  • Proficiency with modern data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Python, SQL, Snowflake, cloud storage, CI/CD).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with third‑party B2B data providers (e.g., D&B, Bombora, ZoomInfo).
  • Familiarity with consumer identity systems, CDPs, activation platforms, and B2B→B2C linkage workflows.
  • Understanding of privacy, consent, and data governance.
  • Experience applying AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with observability platforms and cloud‑native data systems.

The annual salary range for this position is $94,000 - $121,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
