Job Overview:

AVP of Continuous Improvement & Operations Assurance is a role focused on driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of innovation within the T1/T2 Production Support organization.  The selected individual will be responsible for managing the contract for 3rd party service providers and holding the supplier accountable for meeting established KPIs.  This individual will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance processes, improve performance metrics, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. This role will work across the organization to analyze data and collaborate with various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.  This individual will also be responsible for managing the vendor relationship program and ensuring vendors deliver high-quality, timely services aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Implementation:  Developing and executing strategies to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Data Analysis:  Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and identifying trends to drive continuous improvement.

  • Process Optimization:  Spearheading continuous improvement strategies for redesigning and optimizing workflows, enhancing operational excellence, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to streamline operations using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools.

  • Change Management:  Leading and facilitating change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

  • Team Leadership:  Building, leading, and mentoring teams to achieve performance targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration:  Working with various stakeholders to identify needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on improvement initiatives.

  • Project Management:  Managing large-scale projects, identifying bottlenecks, consistently updating key stakeholders, and implementing solutions to improve workflows.

  • Program Management:  Overseeing relationships with vendors, leading regular performance reviews, tracking KPIs, coordinating issue resolution, and driving vendor accountability.

  • Compliance:  Monitoring compliance with SLAs and contract terms, ensuring timely delivery of services and resolution of issues.  Identifying risks and implementing improvement plans to enhance vendor performance and service outcomes.

  • Training and Development: Providing training and support to employees on process improvement methodologies and tools to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience required

  • 5-7 years of experience managing complex projects (non-IT) required

  • 5-7 years in process design (or process improvement certification) required

  • Lean Si Sigma Green/Black belt certification required

  • Project Management Professional certification preferred

Preferences:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services industry.

  • Understanding of 3rd party service contracts

  • Extremely versatile, self-starter with the ability to lead work independently and prioritize workload.

  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives; proven ability to influence others.

Pay Range:

$105,000-$175,000/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
