We are looking for a talented and creative Content Creator to join our growth team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our social media presence, producing engaging video content that connects with African gamers and drives growth across our channels. This is a hands-on, output-driven role: most of your time will be spent in the edit, turning raw footage and concepts into scroll-stopping content.

You will...

  • Create engaging, trend-driven short-form video content to grow Carry1st’s social media following and engagement across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X.
  • Work closely with the growth team to produce organic and paid video content tied to in-game live ops, seasonal events, and regional campaigns
  • Own the content calendar, handling both planning and execution to keep a consistent, high-quality posting schedule across all platforms
  • Post static and video content across Carry1st’s social channels and report on key metrics to track performance and sharpen the content strategy over time

Requirements
  • 1–2+ years of experience creating social media content, with a portfolio of short-form video work and the ability to share examples or links to content you have created
  • Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut, along with comfort using basic static design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
  • A genuine passion for the gaming industry, especially mobile games and African gaming culture.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and X content trends, including how to make content feel native to each platform and localise global gaming trends for African audiences.
  • A data-informed approach to content, with the ability to evaluate performance, report on results, and improve future output.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
  • Experience with ad optimization is a bonus
