We are looking for hardworking individuals to partner with product leads, architects and engineers to scale our investment platform.

With over $200B in client assets across direct index and active strategies, our customized solutions use individual securities, BlackRock Mutual Funds and iShares ETFs to customize, diversify, and tailor investment solutions to HNW/UHNW and Institutional clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to standard methodologies
  • Collaborate with team members to collect detailed data requirements and write technical specifications for developers
  • Prioritize and align roadmap with commercial goals
  • Support engineers on triaging and prioritizing critical issues
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets for informed decision making
  • Deliver impactful presentations that succinctly convey complex concepts and project updates to team members, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Effectively navigate the organizational structure, cultivating relationships and utilizing networks to ensure the success of projects.

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Strong organization and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with project management software like Jira/Azure DevOps as well as collaboration and communication tools
  • Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, and data frameworks like Hadoop
  • Experience with data engineering practices, including data pipeline design, ETL processes, and real-time data processing is a plus
  • Familiarity with API integrations, cloud computing platforms and large-scale data storage solutions is desirable but not required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial services in data product management or a technical track
  • Solid understanding of data engineering, and application development
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CSPO, or equivalent are a plus

 

 


 

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$132,500.00 - USD$162,500.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.


 

For Princeton, NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$112,000.00 - USD$140,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
