About this role

Security Technology / Project Professional is responsible for project management of all new security technology installs, the development, implementation, and management of security devises across global operations. This role involves ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and operational of security technology infrastructures through the design and execution of comprehensive security systems and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain global security technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Implement and manage security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect information assets.
  • Lead the response to security incidents and breaches, including investigations and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and protocols.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Integrate security technologies with existing IT infrastructure and business systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless and secure technology operations.
  • Manage relationships with security technology vendors and service providers.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to align security technologies with business needs.
  • Develop and deliver security training programs for employees and partners.
  • Promote security awareness across the organization.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve security technologies and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with global security regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Ensure that site setup and commissioning of access Control and CCTV is in line with BlackRock Security Standards
Qualifications / Experience
  • Enterprise Ccure 9000 certified
  • Genetec, Victor Video
  • Shooter Detection System
  • Alert Enterprise Risk Management
  • Visitor Management System
  • Experience in a global or multinational environment is preferred
  • Strong understanding of integration with data analytics tools, HR systems, and external applications
Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies and protocols (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)
  • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
  • Strategic planning and project management
  • Advanced knowledge of electronic access control and video management systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
  • The role may require occasional travel to various global locations.

Requirements
  • 2-year degree required; 4-year college degree preferred
For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$85,000.00 - USD$115,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
