The Associate Scrum Master supports the adoption and execution of the Scrum framework within project teams. This role facilitates sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with project goals and progress. Acting as a key liaison between Scrum teams, product management, and stakeholders, the Associate Scrum Master helps guide the product lifecycle from initial planning through release. Responsibilities include monitoring project performance, quality, and delivery speed, providing timely updates to stakeholders, and proactively identifying and removing impediments to maintain smooth workflow.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Provide team with resources, information, communication, and practical advice to enable the team to regularly deliver working software
Manage more than one Sprint team with overlapping timelines and proactively manage dependencies within and across teams
Facilitates: Daily scrum (stand-up), release and Sprint planning sessions, Sprint review (demo) and Sprint retrospective – ensure all participants understand the ceremony’s purpose and keep to the time-box
Track and communicate team velocity and Sprint/release progress
Foster and encourage conversations and collaboration – both inside and outside of team – allowing them to self-organize
A bachelor's degree in computer science or 1+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams
Strong understanding of Scrum principles, structure, and ceremonies in the context of software development.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
Basic knowledge of Agile practices, including retrospectives, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and burn-down charts.
Ability to collaborate effectively and influence without formal authority.
Strong organizational skills.
Preferred: Scrum certification, a bachelor’s degree and knowledge of SAFE Methodology

Pay Range:
$63,400.00 - $105,800.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
