- Provide oversight of the BGS Quality Risk Management process to identify and mitigate Quality risks across the entire BGS network. Developing metrics and Executive required reports.
- Lead a variety of improvement projects while applying knowledge of Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and AS9100 International Quality Standard.
- Support cross-functional and multi-team coordination between BGS Functions and Business, BGS Legal, the Product and Services Safety organization, BCA Regulatory & Quality System Oversight, and other Boeing organizations while simultaneously ensuring project milestones are met.
- Analyzes Quality incidences, internal / external audit findings, and customer issues to determine product risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Ability to apply Systems Thinking and make recommendations for Quality Management System improvements and efficiencies.
- Represents the Company on industry working groups to develop industry standards for quality.
- Advises senior leadership on development of Quality Management System improvements, overall health, and streamlining opportunities.
- Consults in high level reviews of corrective actions at the enterprise and customer level to assure that trends or systemic issues are identified and advises on development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions.
- Conducts research, compiles and analyzes performance reports and data to continuously improve Quality processes.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of experience working with Quality Management Systems, International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100/AS9120).
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
