We are seeking an Associate QA Director to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Durham, NC.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee QA programs and audit strategies across regional and global teams, guiding compliance with regulatory standards, managing customer audits, and supporting quality system improvements throughout the organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead, coordinate, and close internal and external audits; develop corrective actions and trend analyses

  • Manage QA policy development, risk mitigation strategies, and quality oversight for customer accounts

  • Author and maintain QA SOPs and serve on the global SOP taskforce

  • Interpret regulatory requirements and provide training, consultation, and support to cross-functional teams

  • Host regulatory and customer audits, including mock inspections and proposal reviews

  • Oversee documentation and resolution of compliance issues across QA systems

  • Serve as primary QA contact for internal stakeholders and external clients

  • Champion continuous improvement and promote quality management principles across teams

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or related discipline

  • Minimum 10 years of Quality Assurance experience including GxP, audit leadership, and SOP development

  • Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory environments, quality systems, and compliance

  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures

  • Proficient in audit reporting, compliance documentation, and stakeholder engagement

  • Effective problem-solving, risk analysis, and cross-functional communication skills

  • Experienced in database systems, project coordination, and leading QA initiatives

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $106,400.00 - $197,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
