Position Summary

The Associate, Paid Social is an entry-level position where the fundamentals of planning and buying paid social campaigns will be learned as the Associate provides support for the paid social team across their assigned clients.5 Social platforms include a combination, or all, of Meta, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat or Pinterest. The Associate, Paid Social will need to be comfortable evaluating quantitative data and have impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills. In this position, you will juggle multiple projects and should be driven, detail-oriented, and hungry to do great work and learn the foundations of social media advertising. You will need to stay up to date with the paid social media landscape, analyse relevant research, and follow industry trends. 

Responsibilities
  • Assists in compiling detailed paid social media recommendations, including using social platform tools to provide detailed targeting recommendations and sharing campaign specs with partners. 
  • Learn to sufficiently execute paid social campaigns, duties include but are not limited to: trafficking new campaigns, quality assurance, managing asset requests and delivery, monitoring performance, and reporting. 
  • Evaluates quantitative data, assists analytics and planning teams with compiling reports and checking data for accuracy, and provides meaningful insight and actions for internal and external purposes with senior oversight. 
  • Communicate with internal and external partners, attend meetings, share ideas, gain an understanding of paid social media, and maintain professional and collaborative relationships. 
  • Attend internal and external training and complete required social platform certifications as needed. 
  • Budget and financial duties include routine budget pacing, and billing administration with oversight from senior team members. 

Required Skills & Experience
  • Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) 
  • Communication: Comfortable working closely with peers and internal teams in person and via email, phone, and video 
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Close attention to detail. 
  • KINESSO does not require candidates to have a college degree 

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience: Minimum 0-2 years of experience or internship in a related marketing or advertising field. 
  • Interest and passion for social media and advertising
