Real Chemistry is looking for a Media Business Operations Associate to join our growing team!

The Media Business Operations Associate will play a key role working with internal media activation, operations and account teams across the agency to ensure that revenue is being attributed to the Paid Media Activation business unit.  This role will also assist the VP, Media Business Operations with tasks across the life span of a paid media project, from distribution of Media Authorization Forms to internal and external parties, as well as review of Media Authorization Forms, to creation and maintainenance of process decks to reinforce processes that ensure the planning and execution teams are adhering to company standard operating procedures.  This role will adapt over time so we are looking for someone that is nimble and can grow with the team.

This is a hybrid role, based in any of our US offices—including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or San Francisco—or remotely within the US, depending on team and business needs. Ability to work Eastern Time (ET) business hours is preferred

What you’ll do:

  • Salesforce

    • Input, track, and maintain all Indirect Activation Opportunities for the Activation: Paid Media business unit

    • Request Media Fee job codes

  • Open Air

    • Create tasks within each fee code to accurately track timesheet submissions by deliverables

    • Approve timesheets weekly across all Media Fee job codes

    • Create and distribute weekly burn reports to Paid Media leaders for each Paid Media Fee project

  • Ensure IntraCompanyWorkOrders (ICWOs) are being tracked accurately across Activation tracker for weekly SLT meeting

  • Route Media Authorization Forms for signatures using Adobe Acrobat

  • Collaborate with Media Business Operations team to ensure all process decks are updated routinely and disseminated across the agency  

  • Collaborate with outside vendors to ensure employees have access to media planning tools

  • Effectively communicates expectations to internal teams and vendors to facilitate the efficient flow of associated work throughout the agency

  • Enforce agency paid media standard operating processes (SOPs)

  • Additional tasks as required

What you should have:

  • 0-2+ years of experience working at a digital media agency

  • Strong degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Excel skills a must

  • Strong attention to detail focusing on accuracy of numbers and ability to cross-check formulas & related numbers across related reports

  • Ability to support multiple campaign tasks simultaneously-- strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills are a must 

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Media Ocean/Prisma preferred

  • Experience working in Media Business Operations role preferred  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and efficiently across disciplines with colleagues, clients, and partners at all levels 

Pay Range: $60,000-$65,000 + overtime
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
